Welcome to the Word Weaver Website

Word Weaver is a full service word processing, desktop publishing & secretarial service owned and operated by me, Kerry Davis. This is a one person business! Along with the general secretarial services, I also provide bookkeeping and tape transcription, as well as some computer consulting and website design, and have just begun to offer work on setting up family history or genealogy projects. My work is done using PC/Windows equipment, with quality printing in both black & white as well as color. You'll find more information under Services & Rates.

My clients cover a wide range of fields and professions, which include legal, engineering and architectural; medical and dental; academics, writers, advertising and publishing; real estate brokers; contractors and developers; symphony and orchestral groups, musicians and performers and many individuals as well as small to large businesses.

I am set up with a drop box where clients can conveniently leave and pick up work outside of my office hours, on weekends or holidays. It's also not necessary to always drop work by the office as many clients mail, fax and e-mail their work to me, which I mail, fax and e-mail back to them for review and editing before finalization. I can also convert files to PDF documents should that be required.

While I generally always do client work here in my own office, I have from time to time gone out to work for short periods in client's offices. I have also conducted work by phone from my office "as if" from a client's office and dealt with my clients' own clients and patients in this way.
